Step-by-step guide on how to use NIVEA skin care products. (beginner’s guide Nivea skincare routine for oily skin)

Are you new to Nivea skin care products, and you are uncertain about the procedure you should follow? Here is a step-by-step guide for you if you have an oily skin.

It’s as simple as starting with the face wash, then the scrub, then the toner, the serum, and lastly, the day cream, all Nivea, of course. The day is 10 January 2024. I walk into my favorite supermarket, carrefour, to purchase my normal skin care products, and a lady in a pink Nivea uniform diverts me. We had so much in common in terms of skin type and problems. I needed to add some products, so she was kind enough to guide me about the other company’s products, but she asked one question, “Do you want to have clear skin that is dependent on products?” Of course not. Then she explained to me that my skin has become dependent on skin care products because of the brand I was using and explained the benefits of using Nivea. Once your skin is clear, you barely need to keep up with all the products for the skin to continue glowing. So, she guides me on what Nivea products to use and how to use them. Here is a step-by-step guide on how I use my Nivea skin care products on my oily skin. This is how you should use the products on your oily skin.

Morning skincare routine (NIVEA)

Step 1: Face Wash

The first thing you should do is wash your face with the Nivea Perfect & Matte Effect face wash. You can choose to exfoliate as you wash by using a soft glove. Put a sizable amount of the wash directly on your wet skin and scrub gently with your gloves. Rinse it off with warm water. (Insert photos).

Step 2: scrub

Next, you are going to use the Nivea Perfect & Radiant Eventone 3-in-1 Cleanser. This new Nivea cleanser does three jobs for your face: washing, scrubbing, and masking. You can choose to use it as a wash, scrub, or mask. I prefer scrubbing because I feel it goes deep and cleans better. After five minutes, rinse it off with warm water. You can only scrub, mask, or wash using this Cleanser three times a week. If you overuse it, say, six times, you might cause damage to your skin. You can apply it on your face using the tips of your fingers and scrub anticlockwise.

Step 3: Tone

The third step is using the Nivea Perfect & Radiant Eventone 3-in-1 micellar water. My favorite part of this routine is using the toner; it feels so right to win a battle against all the black marks off my face with so much certainty. It cleans deeply, removes makeup, and refreshes your skin, as well as tone it. I mainly use it to refresh and tone my skin. It leaves your skin radiant, beautiful, and smooth. This seems to be the perfect toner option for people with oily skin. Use a cotton pad to apply it on your face and neck.

Step 4: Serum

The fourth and second last step is the queening step, as I like to refer to it, applying the Nivea Post-acne marks Serum (LUMINOUS ANTIDARK-SPOT). The best part about this Nivea serum is that it is multipurpose. Unlike other brands where you will need a dark sport corrector and serum, the Nivea serum has already covered that, too. Also, you need very little amount of the serum, and it will be enough for your face. Put some on your forehead, then on the cheeks and on your chin, and evenly spread it on your face. Feel the divine feeling of the serum penetrating your skin; it is so fulfilling and refreshing.

Last step: apply day cream

Apply Nivea Perfect & Radiant Eventone mattifying day cream. This is the most important part for any person with oily skin because you want to mattify your skin and protect it from the sun at the same time.

Night routine (NIVEA)

For the night routine, you are only going to eliminate the day cream. You can also choose when to be scrubbing your face; make it night or morning, but strictly three times a week.

Step one: wash your face using the face wash.

Step two: apply your tone.

Step three: apply your serum.

This is a beginner’s guide, and of course, as you advance, you will add other products for your eye area and lips. You might also want to add anti-aging products later on. A guide will be provided.
